Ethical Reporting Channel / Whistleblowing / Klokkenluidersmeldkanaal Channel
A Secure, Confidential “Ethics Channel” for Compliance & Transparency
Across Europe, the EU Whistleblower Protection Directive (2019/1937) encourages organisations to create safe and reliable internal reporting channels. While not every organisation is legally obliged to implement one, many are choosing to adopt an ethical reporting system as a proactive step toward stronger governance, greater transparency and improved organisational trust.
Introducing a confidential, secure channel shows your commitment to doing things right, not just because the law requires it, but because your organisation values integrity.
Our service offers a robust platform to satisfy this legal requirement.

Deadlines for Compliance
Generally, entities have three months from the law’s effective date (13 June 2023) to implement an internal system. For entities under 250 employees or municipalities under 10,000 inhabitants, the extended deadline is 1 December 2023.
Management & Optional Outsourcing
The organisation’s governing body (after consulting labour-representative bodies) must designate a “System Responsible” – often a senior executive – to oversee the channel. External management (outsourcing) is permitted and often advisable for impartiality.
